Newbie here with a question
Just joined because I hope to add at some point a '73-'75 F150 to my garage as a companion for my '02 Thunderbird! 
I am specifically looking for those years because in California (where I am from) you no longer have to have your vehicle smogged if it was built before 1976. And I definitely want to turn whatever I buy into a sleeper of sorts.
I'm still shopping around for the right truck but in the meantime I have been doing some checking about at the availability of parts, engines, etc. as I want this to be a project vehicle that incorporates styline cues, etc. from other Fords.
My first question is will a '78-'79 headlight assembly/grill assembly fit on a '73-'75 F150 with little or no problem?

Yes but you have to rework a few things.
