01 rear end
I have a 2001 f-150 super crew. I was wondering how to find out if I have a 8.8/9.75 axle or an 10.25 on my truck. And also how do I know if the axle is a traction-lok axle. I was wanting to know this so I will know how much gear oil I need to buy to put in the rear end and if I need to put an additive for the traction lok.

If you want to know if its a traction lok axle got to the door jamb and look at the axle code if it reads 19 (which is 3.55) for example or any other number 2 numbers its not a traction lok BUT if its a H9 or any other letter and number its a traction lok hope this helps
