front end lower valance

front end lower valance
i want something to make my front end look a little more beefy. i'm not a big fan of all of the chrome stuff. part function, part looks. a lower valance came to mind. anyone have a suggestion on something that would look good and be fairly inexpensive.

I would take those stump catchers off that they call step bars, they are also rust magnets, that will give it a higher profile. As for the front, the only thing I can think of that would make it beefy, would be a grill guard in black to match the truck. It's a very sharp looking truck, you should be proud. You probobly don't go 4 wheeling, but if you do, those step rails catch everything and hurt ground clearence, other than that, it's the bomb!!!!!!!!

i thought about the stump catchers, but my fiance uses them. on top of that, i figured it's better to have a stump hit them than to hit the door.
i've thought about the grille guard. i'd like to go with something a little cheaper. they make cheap ones, but are totally not functional.
i do a bit of off-roading at my family's farm, but nothing too serious. in my opinion, that huge chunk of plastic on the front isn't helping anything.

Try the Bull Bar. Westin makes one but I see it only comes in chrome. Someone else may have it in black. They come with driving lights optional. That would make it look beefy, and maybe take your eye away from the valance if you're not pleased with it.
