Question EBC or HAWK brakes??

i have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 3.0l. its got pads in front but drums (boo) in back. i want to put some reallly good pads up front, i got some pepboys ceramic ones in there now, got them when used to work there. however i am regretting why i didnt go with the hawk perfermance or the ebc brakes...does anyone know of some other name brand brakes that are really good that go on it stock? i want to spend around 50$, thats not a lot, but more than the regular brakes. i need the ones that autozone, orielly, pepboys or advance has in stock, not the spec. order kind. anyone have any good name brands would be good. also maybe some rotors too, i have noticed, rotors do make a difference!!! dont go with the cheap ones! get the better, they are worth it and can be cut once or twice which in long run will save money.

Brembo would be another brand to consider. I've been pleased with the "medium" grade from NAPA. Shop the e-tailers for good prices, free shipping and no tax. We have a sponsor that carries all brands. Make sure you get a kit for the pads that includes the replacement clips.

I like hawk myself, the tunner crowd tends to like ebc cause you can get them in different colors, but a good pad also. The best thing I like about hawk, is that they reduce the amount of brake dust on your wheels and they stop good as well. Brembo is good stuff, but it can get pricey.
