Question 2004 E350 tires

Hey al_e._gator! what kind/size of tires are you going to put on that Van? I would like something wider than the 225s. Been looking around, The E350 cargos hafve 245s on them. The time is coming soon for me.

I still have the factory Michelin LTX 225s. At 43k they still have over 50% tread left! I have been real happy with these tires and will probably buy them again. I would like wider tires too but I can't really afford to do anything that decreases my gas mileage. I'm sure wider tires will have an effect.

I have 245/75 R16 "E" on my 99 E-350 15 passenger, on my second set, went with a Hwy tread this time, I wanted wider tires, but load E don't offer anything wider that what I have.

my 225s seem to find "ruts" in the concrete highways, then is tracks funny in the "rut". never had this with my 235XLs on the old 92 E150. Yes I had it aligned by the guy that made my last two vans right.

I haven't noticed a tracking problem with my van. I do have some directiional sensitivity someimes and I've had to rebalance my tires to cure a vibration. Both of these problems occured at highway speeds.
