About a year after I bought my Exploder the as the gas prices rose the value of my car fell. Now with falling gas prices, their value is going back up again around here. I toyed with the idea of trading it off and getting something smaller maybe with a diesel in it. Glad I didn't now.
Same thing with my truck. When I bought it diesel was $1.74. Then it shot up to over $3.00. I'm thinking, well I don't drive it that much so we'll be OK. I just bought it to pull my wagon anyway. Now diesel has dropped down to $2.09 and it's cheaper to drive my truck than the car-------Go figure! The nice thing about it is I'd rather drive the truck anyway. I guess the moral of this story if there is one, is if you wait long enough things seem to average out.
