At times, my transmission seems to bog down before shifting into second gear. After it does shift, everything runs smooth. It does not code with an OBDII. Anybody have any thoughts as to what the problem may be. I have changed fluids and filters regularly, including draining the torque converter. The last time was two weeks ago, but the problem has been going on for a couple of months.

What fluid are you using? If it isn't Mercon V, it's the wrong fluid. Ford is now stating that everything that used to be Mercon should now be Mercon V. I a lot of cases, it will fix that same problem you are having. How many miles on the transmission. If it's high - 100,000 or more, it's probably time for ov'haul.
