ok guys its been a week or 2 lol so anyway the other day we finally got a little snow here in berks kinda chilly so i had the heater cranked. im goin down the road and it just stops i figure the plug at the control came loose under the hood so i go to pull over and no turn signals also discovered no reverse lights! lights were on and brake lights worked. any ideas what would cause these to go out together? they also just suddenly started working again while i was driving. they work now but id like to fix this before it happens again. any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Brake lamps are on a different circuit than directional and reverse lamps. I suspect a short in the trailer wire harness, or where there may have been an add-on unit at one time.
There is a problem with these trucks that could possibly be the cause. If you find the blower, wipers, signals, etc, suddenly stop working, lightly wiggle the keyswitch on the column and see if they come back on. The detent in the switch gets weak, especially during cold weather, and the switch can get slightly out of position and kill all the accessories.
Mine used to do it, and after starting, I would just wiggle the key a little bit to make sure it fell back into place. Through the years for different problems, I have changed out the tumbler assembly and the ignition switch itself, and with a little bit of lube, it doesn't do it anymore.
