First Modification for 95 XL

I have 95 Bronco XL and it has small tires on it. Should I put 33's on it before doing anything else? The truck is solid and really doesn't "need" anything else but a lift and a decent stereo system. Tires first or what? Thanks

If it has auto hubs (probably not 'cause it's an XL?) your first mod should be to get rid of them.

First Modification for 95 XL

Actually, I had the guy change the autohubs before I bought it. They didn't work so I made him put on Warn Standards. They seem to work great so far. My brother has a 91 Bronco with 33's and a Skyjacker lift and it looks so much better than mine. Right now my Bronco looks too big for it's tires. There is too much room in the wheel wells and it looks like it's squating. I'm thinking that 33's will lift it up a little and square out the look. Am I wrong?

Dunno. Depends on the 33's. I think you can get 33x10.50's and those should work just fine. They'll fit, I mean. But 33x12.50's will rub on full turns without a lift, so if I were you I'd put a stereo in it now, and save money to do the lift, then the tires. Thats the order I did my stuff.

I'm pretty sure you will need to push out the front bumper by adding some washers behind the mounting holes so 33" tires won't rub the bumper. I had 33/12.50's on my '85 with no mods at all (different bumper of course), and the only rubbing I had was very minor contact on the radius arms at full turn. And yes they do fill up the fenderwells nicely.

Right. 33x12.50s will fit '92-96 by only shimming the bumper out ~3/4".
