Dash lights

My dash lights are starting to go out. It seems like one every other day. The only light still working right now is the speedo and half the tach. I was wondering if there are any upgrade light bulbs you can get? Maybe LED's or something. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks

Best thing to do, would be to remove the dash, dissasemble and find out what the bulb sizes are, and part number if possible, which could probably be gotten from the dealer, if you have a helpfull dealer. Then its a matter of unsolder, resolder (pretty sure they are soldered, and not in sockets, correct me if im wrong) and reassemble. But you might not be THAT comfortable doing that detailed work?

my defroster bulb went out a few days ago. after reading methods on how to fix it on here i pulled the dash out, disconnected some plugs, and replaced the bulbs. the bulbs just pull out of their receptacle...went to advanced auto parts and picked up new ones. total time to fix...about an hour or so. gotta pull the radio out first. after that its fairly smooth sailing. just search the forums for "burnt out dash bulbs" you'll get all kinds of good intel..
hope this helps!

One of mine went the other day and I got to thinking the same thing you did. Here's a site that Ron (ron's power stroke) suggested. I think the first ones are the same to the original incandescent bulbs we have in the dash. http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

Do you happen to know what the numbers on the original bulbs are? I wanna replace the warning lights and the ones that light the dash. So far all I've found out is the warning ones are smaller.

I think they are same bulbs that are in our pilliar gauges. Don't know the size but you can get them anywhere. You shouldn't have any problem finding them.

I think that the smaller bulb number is #37.
