How's this for towing?
Vehicle: 1978 E-250 Quadravan 4x4
Motor: Ford crate G460
10.5:1, dual plane, SCJ aluminum heads (72cc), msd
Cam: Lunati 00096
214/224 @ .050, advertised 280/290
C6, Saturday night special converter (~1800 stall), 3.73, 33x12.50's
Towing ~7k lb's
Should I buy a Gran Torino to put the heads in and get some iron?
I was having trouble towing 3k before cam change (knocking), but also discovered sticky calipers. Haven't completely reassembed it yet.
