Part Identification
When replacing the driver front fender of my brothers Superduty, I noticed an electrical control box with a High Voltage warning. Does anyone know what this is for? I know it's not the IDM, but it says IDM on it.
The top line reads: IDM 120 SREO

No, this is shaped like the IDM, and is mounted to the front of the cab. It would be about the same spot as the kick panel, but it's on the outside of the cab. It has a very large plug and a wire harness about 1" in diameter that is black with a red stripe. A label on the part says warning-high voltage, and not to pinch the wiring. Is there a way to add a pic?

When my Superduty broke down in Atlanta a couple of years back, they replaced the module under the dash and called it the IDM. I think Bullydog calls the one under the dash the IDM also on their instructions for their flip chip. Even pics of IDM's on Ebay show the underdash unit. Is this common nomenclature for the unit under the dash also?
