New guy here.....
Hi guys, new here. A friend of mine told me this was a good site to get info on my truck. I am also on several Mustang boards, and am president of Metro Area Mustangs & Fords Club, based out of Maryland (www.mamandf.com)
Anyway, a few months ago I bought my first real pickup, a 1996 F-150 XLT. 300 I-6, 5 speed, 2x4, regular cab, short bed. It's got a few dings and bruises, but no rust and the thing runs like a champ! All the options on it work, even the A/C, and it actually gets pretty decent milage. I just needed a truck to get back and forth to work with, plus haul some things occasionally, and this works great!
Was wondering what the power/ tq/ & tow rating was for this truck, and my buddy told me to look here.
Anyway, here's the truck:

Anyway, as you can see the body is a little beat. I'd like to find a new tailgate for it, and I will be replacing the rear feul tank this week (had a leak in it when I bought the truck). But, like I said, it runs great, and including tagging it and inspecting it, I didn't even spend 2K on it! Can't beat it as far as I'm concerned!
