Its happned!!!
Hey all again, I was driving my bronco from the flat cement where i work on it to the driveway, and it just died, and when i try to start it the motor turn really hard and it still seems like trans is engaged because it jumps!! what could that be?? One of the wierdest things i have heard about, the kickdown cable wasn't on, but i was in first gear, please help, i was gonna retire it for awhile, and was trying to fix little problems but this happened, and if anybody thinks this is an easy fix, help me out and tell me how, and if you know where to find a clip that hooks the kickdown cable to the throttle body that would be appreciated

If the truck is trying to start in a moving gear, there is something wrong with the ignition lockout and/or neutral safety lockout. nuetral safety is usually in the tranny and also turns your backup lights on on most auto-trans. wehicles. As for the ignition lockout system, I haven't got enough expertise to give you any advice on troubleshooting but that does sound like at least part of the problem.

ok, was just moving from the my patio to the driveway, about 200 feet at the most, is there anyway to reset the trans and getit back to normal?? Please tell me i didn't screw it all up
