i busted a universal joint on my 85 Bronco lastnight, and found another problem.. at the front of my rear shaft, there is a little tit on the driveshaft that goes into a sleeve, that bolts up to the yolk coming out of the transfer case...i need to know what that is called so i can get one asap.

It's called a "yoke". A "yolk" is the middle of an egg.
And the "thing" that the tip of the driveshaft goes into is the "centering ball" of the "double cardan" joint. Poke around this site, and you'll see a nice exploded diagram of it:
