i've got a 95 300-6 and my air diverter??, the rail running down the head with lead to each cylinder is leaking. if it gets to this point can it be removed, cleaned and put back or will it need to be replaced?? i know it's not cheap and am wondering what effect would it have on the computer if i completely remove the smog system from the engine.

 

it will probably throw fault codes but if mine got messed up i would remove it and plug the holes in the head

 

that's what i'm thinking about doing, am just worried about the computer.
