Howdy, I am new to this forum, but not to forums in general. I am on sbftech, fordpinto.com, turboford.net, and other forums. My name is the same on every forum, so it is easy to tell it is me. Anywho, a little about me. I got out of the Navy last year after 6 years of seeing the world on the taxpayers' dime. I am originally from Tucson, AZ, but found the love of my life and she is from TN, so we have moved to Chattanooga, and will be married in April. Unfortunately, I left most of my vehicles in the tender care of my father and uncle back in Tucson. Here is a list of the cars/trucks I own:
Here in TN: 87 Mustang LX, 02 Kia Rio
Back in AZ: 67 Mustang, 73 Pinto, 76 Mustang II, 77 Pinto, 77 Mustang II, 78 Pinto, 78 F150 4x4
Eventually I want to do a 429/460 in the 4x4, with either a NV4500 or NV5600 behind it.
I am no stranger to big projects. I have done a 3spd column shift to 5spd floor shift conversion on an 81 Chevy, a sbc/TH350 to bbc/NV4500 in a 72 Blazer, and am in the process of gathering the necessary parts to do an auto to 5spd conversion on my 87 Mustang. As you have undoubtedly noticed, I am not an anti-Chevy person. I am not an anti-import person either, but if you also notice only 1 of the 9 cars I own is not a Fomoco product. I like to have fun with what I own, and these are what I currently own. Have fun, and take it easy!
That is some collection you have! I think you will like this forum and feel free to jump in and ask questions or help others. Check out the state chapter forums, you can find other like minded people like yourself near you and see what is going on in your state(s).
