the sender for my pyro is mounted before the turbo, mounted in the up pipe going into the turbo, not on the down pipe, what temp should i be watching for?????? should i cap off the hole in the up pipe, and put another in the down pipe and mount it there, and then ill know not to go over 1100 degrees???
If you put it in the down pipe, you better stay about 900 or lower.
In the up pipe I would say 1100 would be safe.
I have mine in the drivers side exhaust manifold, right above the cross over pipe connection. That puts it right outside the # 8 exhaust port in the head.
