1996 ranger ignition problem
I have a 1996 Ranger with a 2.3 L engine. Recently the ignition lock set has started turning all the way around and sometimes it takes several times to get the truck to start. When you try to crank it, it will turn like its suspose to and just click once. It may do this a couple of times until it finally cranks. I changed the ignition key set, but the problem persists. It seems like if you turn the key to just the right spot it starts. Is this a problem with the ignition switch inside the column? Any suggestions? Thanks, Keith
