XCAL2 Parameter changes ??????
I was hoping for a little help in the parameters optins on my XCAL2. I was wondering what each of the parameters did such as the REV/Mile?? What does this parameter mean or do? The WOT option is Wide Open throttle I am assuming and you can adjust the mph + or-.. The next shift I am assuming is the shift firmness.. My biggest question is the REV/MILE any help would be appreciated..
Thanks in advance..

WOT is most likely asking when you want to shift. You can add or subtract MPH when the trans will shift into the next gear only at wide open throttle. Shift firmness is going to a different parameter.
I am going off of my experience with Sniper's stuff, but it is all close to the same.
How that actually works is, the Revs/Mile feature is so that you can recalibrate the speedometer for a change in tire size.
It has a resolution rate of 5 revs per mile - meaning you can make changes in increments of 5 revs per mile. Now what revs per mile actually means is, the number of revolutions it takes for that particular tire to travel exactly one mile - this is how automakers control their speedometer as if concerns tire sizes, and all tire manufactures rate their tiers this same way. Now keep in mind that in truck tires, the revs per mile spec is usually at 45 mph - it has to always be at one set speed for this official rating, due to the fact that all tires "grow" as speed increases, so they pick a speed to rate their tires at.
I mention this simply because you will notice, if you compare your speedometer's readout to a GPS, your speedometer error will be higher the faster you go, even though it may be perfect at 45 mph, by the time you hit 80-90 mph, it will be off a little bit, due to tire growth, and truck-type tires generally have the most growth in them, it's just the nature of truck tires.
Now you only need to mess with that revs/mile option if you actually change tire size and the speedometer is thrown off as a result - otherwise, just leave it alone, as it also affects the odometer reading and can affect automatic transmission shift points as well.

You can change your shift points at WOT, and you can also alter your shift firmness levels, just as you noticed already.
Have fun,
