Help needed programming Hypertechh III

I have a 04 F250 V10 with 37 inch tires and 6 inch lift kit. I am not sure what reve limits to input or shift firmness or 1-2, 3-4 shift points, I don't know what shift firmness is either. I would appreciate any help. As you can see I am new to the trucking world. So of the questions were easy to answer with the programmer the others were confusing to me. My goal is to achieve better MPG. K&N FIPK and Magna Flow exhaust is installed as well.

Thanks in advance.....

These are optional. To start with, unless you have done valve train work, leave the rev limiter and shift points alone for now. I like a heafty 1-2, a mild 2-3 and hard 3-4 shift, but it personal preferance. Start out with them on the lowest settings and bring them up one at a time until you find what you like. Document the changes so you can remember what you have changed and liked/disliked.

Once you get the firmness set, you can play with the shift points, but you will find spots that the rev limiter will engage before the trans shifts. So do a little at a time if you feel you must change them.

I have a hypertech 3 also on my 01 F150 SC 4x4 that has a 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires. I programmed mine with the shift points delayed 500rpms on all shift points and rev limiter left alone STOCK. shift firmness oh yeah you got to do that, it brings life back to your truck since your rolling on 37s, you wont regret these modifications, if you do just go back to factory settings and start over oh and also, I like the middle powersetting the best
