Your car was built at the Kansas City plant , your engine is a 200 hp 289 2 bbl. carb V8. Your axle ratio is a 3.00:1 and has a factory limited slip unit. If the "W" was listed under color and came off the plate where the VIN is listed, then it means your car came with Medium Aqua Metallic paint, you have a 3 spd. manual trans. with the 2.77 first gear ratio. Look for the body code on the metal tag for a 66A, 66B, or 66D and repost here and I will tell you which model Ranchero you have. I am unsure at this time what the 48 code means and the 4U interior, but when I find them, I will get back to you. Hope this helps.
