BTS price?
Hi all, I am installing 4" exhaust tommorrow am. That will be the last of the first 3 mods I already installed the guages and air intake. So after exhaust is done my plan is this. I want to order the BTS valve body. I sent them a not and recieved a replay as to the price. 225 for VB + 150 core + shipping. What the "core" part. Is that a fee to send back to old VB for a credit of 150.00? Im not sure. I also plan on the DP tuner. i think i will order this set up stock, no start, 40 tow, 60 tow, 80 econ. not sure if i should go any higher. I tow a 12000 lb raptor toy hauler to bike rallies in the summer and have a 20 enclosed snowmobile trailer (aluminum) that has 4 sleds in it (approx 5500 lbs) so I thought the 40 tow for the raptor, and 60 tow for the sleds (or raptor on level grounds) then i am not sure what else to order for tunes. I dont want to prematurely damage the tranny. Jody told me he can give me a code to tell BTS to make the VB build to so it can be installed and ready to go. Also can i put in the VB first for a wekk or so then put in the chip from jody without hurting the truck? sorry to get long winded here... Thanks guys for all your help here this place is the best .. Yes the 150.00 would be a charge for the valve body core. So if you dont send your old one back to BTS they keep the 150.00. After you send the old back you get the CORE charge back, usually credited to your card. By the way, seems we are doing similar mods. I got the BTM done today and I have the AFE and guages ready to install, its just too cold out today. I also have a 9200lb TT, i will be calling Jody soon, As for which tunes to get, im looking at the same with maybe up to a 100hp for fun.

twisted, Yes it seems we are doing the same mods. I installed my guages 2 weeks ago outside in the driveway. It was high of 23. frooze my but off but i got it done. tommorrow am the exhaust goes in. my friend is letting me use his heated garage that will help. all that will be left is the valve body and tuner. thanks for the answer on the 150 core exchange.
