302sb/c4 trans

was wondering if anybody would know about at what angle (in degrees) a 302sb/c4 combo would mount into a '55 f-100 in relation to the rear end

Set you engine so the carb mounting surface is level. The centerline of the transmission and the centerline of the third member yoke should be at parallel angles. Do a search on "pinion angle" on this forum and you should get some good informational material. You may have to shim the spring pads on your rearend to get the correct relationship between the tranny and the rearend.
