Hey thanks for the reply
Weve checked the fuses and they are OK
and no its not reading the mileage
We were thinking that it could be a circuit board or maybe the ignition wiring
everything else seems to be working fine
any other thoughts are welcome and again thanks in advance

Hi Joe
Sorry for the late reply about our gauge problem but we had to wait for warmer weather up here in the north and im glad to say that your info proved invaluable as our problem was a cold solder joint on the main power line connection of the circuit board.
