6 isk CD player PROBLEM
I have two 2002 ford's with 6 disk cd players.
I am having trouble with both units NOT ejecting cd's.
Any idea what the problem is and possible cures?
One unit in 2002 Explorer, one in 2002 F250 psd

If you are referring to the OEM in-dash units that is a common problem. It can be caused by a couple of issues.
Does the player recognize that there is a disc in there? In other words does it play and show the CD clock/track etc? And does it TRY to eject at all? If so its most likely and issue with the transport and will need to be repaired/realigned.
If the unit does NOT recognize the CD's (or doesnt even try to eject) then it may just be 'confused'. Try 'tricking' the unit by going through the load proceedure for each slot but only insert a disc far enough so the transport trys to accept it - then pull it back out. Sounds goofy but mine gets 'confused' from time to time and forgets its loaded - this seems to do the trick.
