I have searched and searched on how the vavle body works and how to install it. I am wanting to know what is all involved in doing the installation myself. (warning my vocabualry on transmission parts is small so please be thorough when you explain) Any pictures or links would be very beneficial and greatful.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Oh yea I have 2000 psd CC 4x4 short bed. The only mod so far is the 6637 airfilter

Follow guzzles write up that tenn posted and you will be fine. It is surprissingly easy. I had never had a tranny apart but had it done in about 30-45 minutes and then did a fluid flush and fill.
I also found that Brian at BTS will answer questions also. Gussle's directions are to the "T". Like I said in another post, the hardest thing for me in doing this was finding a torque wrench in low enough inch pounds that I could "BARROW" and not have to buy. Although I did just go buy one last weekend because I didn't have one. Oh well.
I hate it when ya have to buy new tools for a project. Hmmm I need to find another project so I can buy a new tool now.
Guzzles is dead on for the install unless you want to customize the transgo plate (not advisable, Brian and Cale do a good job on the shifts) the you will need to call BTS.

That's been the single most reason my tool collection keeps growing. I tend to go buy a tool when I need it. You never know when you might need it again.
you know your in trouble when you start making tools for one project or another, and it's really bad when you make the tool not because your cheap and don't want to pay for it but because no one has ever made one for that project before.
i see that after the fact...sorry tenn...by the time i found the instrution in my favorites and got it posted then it wouldnt let me type any thing in after that.then the site slowed down as i was posting ...it took me 15 minutes to post that thing... once again im sorry...
