clutch interchange question

clutch interchange question
I have the chance to pickup a 83 Bronco with 300 six and 4 speed tranny for parts. My question is will the clutch, pressure plate etc. fit behind my 88 302? I know I have to change out my flywheel and can't use the six flywheel ( mine is auto right now). I think the bellhouseing will fit but not sure anymore. Shame junk the rest of 83, the motor and all is good but have no place to store it right now. So if I do get it I would be willing to do some sell/swap if anyone is interested.

that motor and tranny is an awesome combo. would almost prefer that to my 5.8 setup currently.
as for the clutch i dont suggest installing something used like a clutch. are you swapping that 4speed in behind your 302 or does it already have a manual?

I didn't plan to use the old stuff just wondered if it would fit. Parts stores always want the year, motor size, tranny etc. for the parts and they look at me funny when I say I need parts that are not for the year truck I have lol. My Bronco is currently an auto so I plan to swap out the pedals etc. out of the 83 into mine. As my signature implies, my truck is no longer (stock). I rebuilt the 88 302 and carbed it with a bypass fuel pressure regulator and put in a pionts distributor. Now the aod tranny started to leak at the pump real bad and this gives me the chance to swap out this piece of junk with a stick and manual trans case. the 83 also has manual hubs on it I plan to use on mine.
