Hi All! I'm new here, and FoMoCo.com says you guys might be able to help. Got a really nice 61 Econoline that needs a little TLC.. Would like to completely rework the brakes, meaning hoses, steel lines, etc., but would like to convert this old girl to a dual braking system. A rotted brake line and the pedal to the floor gave me a little scare recently. She's fixed and rolling again, but I think the dual system would make me feel a little easier. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I know you'll need some kind of proportioning valve, and a dual master cylinder. (kinda goes without sayin') I have a 72 E300 and went to junkyards to find out what would work for my Disc conversion. You'll have to find..say.. a Ford around that year or find out when Ford went to dual stage and look there...they do make dual master cylinders with proportioning valve for after market..check some if the "rodder" site's for those ..or wait for someone who knows...Good luck....EconoDave
