another beautiful X, wow, I am feeling left out. Finally an X with black rims. 17s at that. I am starting to wonder if a 4" lift is gonna be big enough for 18s and big tires......damn that truck is sexy.

Yes sir, you definitely know the inside scoop! Its going to be fun project putting the 08 sheet metal on with a 08 RA bumper. Hopefully this weather will hold and I can get to grinding!

It should be. My only issue with the 13.5 wides is full lock I get some rub on the leaf spring with the side biter lugs. The rest of the clearance is good.

Yeah, went with 17's this go around and very happy with that decision.

These are the 37's.

Talking

8" BDS lift was completed on Monday (2/13/12) I've been busy, but here are more pics

BEFORE - (dealer pictures)

AFTER (My crap cell phone pictures)

Notice the full size Dodge on the right

Running boards are a full two feet from the ground, but it is still easy to get in there

I'm not 100% in love with this decal but maybe I'll like it better once I have some more decals in addition to it.

This is legal height... but clearly it would run right over a Focus

My girlfriend is 5'4" (below)

I would hate to see this coming at me on the road!!!! YIKES! You'd be pulling the seat out of my behind! Serious pucker factor there.

Lift looks good CC!

Mx21 - Can you give us any details on your Ex? How much lift? What spring combination/suspension lift? Tire size? I think yours has a VERY similar stance to what mine will have when I wear these damn 285s out and get 315s.

CC-Vermont, brrrrr. I really can't wait to see your Ex once your wheels come in. Looks good! Don't forget to adjust your headlights down for the poor folks in regular vehicles on the road.

I plan to move south this September when my lease is up, or maybe just travel all winter. I love VT in the summer, but the winter sucks. This winter is very mild though

I got the projector headlights in the mail today, those are going on soon

Originally I did not move it forward but the tires hit under some aggressive compression so I move the bumpers forward 3.75-4" for some additional clearance. Most people don't notice the line doesn't line up. Good eye!

Finally took some pics today so I have some of the Ex in its current form. Vs with an add-a-leaf and Bs with 2 more inches of block. 285s. Still dirty from the snowy/sandy/salty roads last week. Whatever, it's no show truck.
