Stock gears bud. Truly I'm really impressed. All I lost was fuel economy. It's really pretty impressive the power I do have. Using my Supertuner I set it in performance mode. I can bark the rears from a dead stop when the conditions are perfect. (I.e. no a/c, fan, extreme power draw)
I was able to tow a 12k lb (weighed it before I hooked up) dump trailer like it was nothing. Remember the 6.8l power band is between 35 and 4500 rpm. I'm thinking of adding a supercharger and mid to med cams next.

Which one of the stock gears, there were two. . I'm assuming from your report that your rig has the 4.30 gears if its still fun to drive with the 37"s.

boy i really like some of these lifts. mine is still stock height with some 33's on it but i am wanting to go higher. i originally wanted to do a 6 inch lift with 37's but after seeing some of the bigger ones i kinda want to go bigger. i have a good idea how big mine would be with a six inch lift and 37's because at one time i owned an 04 f350 with a 6 inch lift and 37's. i was wondering if any of you kind gentlemen or ladies with the 8 inch skyjacker or bds lifts or the 10 inch bds lift would be so kind as to post a picture or pictures of you excursion with you or someone or something standing beside it so i could get a height reference as to how big it would be. i am 5'8 and my wife is 5'4. i didn't want to go to big and i also have a boat to tow. my excursion is a 2000 limited with the 7.3 and 4x4. thank you for any help or pictures posted

Just got mine back with Xs and Mod-Cs. Also had adjustable track bar, Bilsteins, Hellwig rear bar, and all poly bushings. I am still rolling on the stock rubber but new shoes are next. I also installed all the LEDs and HIDs myself and it was worth every cent and a snap install.
Looking good Jay! Nice lift and a very clean rig with a great shine!
How big of a tire are you planning? And what gears does your V-10 EX have?
Remember that taller tires will reduce the effective ratio and rob you of performance, it will be even more obvious if you tow at all. I you do tow heavy it may be time to consider new deeper gears to go with the soon to be bigger rubber.
