timing belt cover

98 ford ranger ive tride for houres to git the timing cover of to change therostate its wedged up aginst the bottom pully anyone have a solution

What engine? Can you describe a little more how it's wedged? Perhaps you have to remove the pulley (bottom should be crankshaft)?

2.5 engine i unhooked the clips and the center bolt on the cover but the bottom of the cover is stuck on the crankshaft pully ?

You have to remove the crankshaft pulley.. you'll need to remove the bolt that holds it on and using a puller, pull the pulley off of the crankshaft.
