Fuel Pressure gauge

Well, with all the problems the stroker has been having with fuel delivery, I just bought a fuel pressure gauge for in the cab. I want to know when it starts to screw up because it still acting a bit funny. I can't tell if its in my head and im just afraid of it diein again. Where do i hook this gauge up to? Its an autometer sport comp2 0-100PSI with electric sender.

The gauge sender hooks up to the back of the fuel/water separator on the back side opposite of the drain valve. There is a threaded plug there, I believe it is a 1/8 27 THD. I may be wrong about that, someone else might chime in. That is one location, there may be another location.

The back of the fuel bowl is a good place. There's a plug in there now. But, you will need an adapter to make it fit. I can't remember now what the correct size is though. I just took my plug out and went to the hardware store to find the appropriate piece with the proper threads. The stock plug is round with an female allen to remove it.

Go spray it soon with some liquid wrench or something. I tried and ultimately gave up trying to remove that plug. Others have had success.

Either one really but, the one at the top, on the driver's side, is easier to get to, IMO. They will give the same reading though.
