adding power windows and locks
Me and my uncle are negotiating a trade for my 2005 chevy colorado for his 2006 F-150 SXT. this is his work truck however and doesnt have power windows and locks, how much work am i looking at to get them?
coincidently it was a smoker vehicle, so whats a good way to change the interior smell immedietly

Hi and Welcome to Ford Truck Enthusiasts Krenfro!!
I've recently added a Pwr Win/DRLs to my '05 150-XL. I purchased my kits from A-1 Electric for right under 300$ (minus shipping). It included a "Direct-fit" window kit w/wiring, pwr dr lock actuators-wiring, and a keyless entry system (2-key fobs). I was also able to install the kit myself in a resonable weekend day. Also, I am adding the Factory Ford door panels in the near future to help clean up the install.
A lot of the times, the "smell" comes from a "film" that has thinly coated most of the interior panels/parts-fixtures (incl. carpet and headliners)... Cleaning them thoroughly usually takes care of about half the smell. The other thing to do is...find a detailer with a "fogger" and see if they could run a deodorizer solution (for smoked in vehicles) in the cab area.
