skid plate
i have to replace the ujoints in the front drive shaft. the problem is that the bolts on the skid plates are rounded off. the question is how do you get the bolts off. i have had good luck from this forum.and what size are the bolts on the front driveshaft coming from the transfer case,they are 12pt.

I have seen special sockets from craftsman (click here)
Also spray those bolts with pb blaster or wd-40 before you try to take them off.
Do you just want to take the skid plate off for easier access to the ujoint? Sorry dont know the size off hand
