Roush Performance

I have a 06 screw with the 5.4. I was thinking about getting the Roush Cold Air Intake Kit and the Dual Exhaust Rear Exit Kit from Roush as well. My question is, what kind of performance improvement are we talking about here? Both say "increase horsepower". What kind of increase? Is it worth the combined price of $900? Does anyone out there have this setup?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I just did a 3" exhaust and did not notice mutch differance. Then I installed the SCT 2 programer and JLT intake and wow what a differance. The truck now has some power and is fun to drive. It is all in the tune.

bad loser pretty much hit the trifecta with what he has. The roush stuff is ok, but i believe their intake is a rebranded one.

Check this out, we have a perfect power making combo on our site with the BamaChips Custom Xcalibrator 2, JLT intake, and Magnaflow Catback stainless exhaust, for only $999 shipped.

If you want to get right to the nitty gritty of all the research I have done, just check out our powerpacks, they include the best products we have found on the market for likely the best price youll find online.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll have to look into a tuner as well.

Yeah you'll notice the most from a tuner. CAI and 3"ers help it breathe and sound more like a truck

Air-Raid Cold Air Intake...Flowmaster exhause... superchips flashpaq tuner... and a 4.56 rear end (35 inch tires) definitely made a difference...When i initially lifted my truck... I didnt have any of the aforementioned mods... I added things one by one.. first the intake... didnt notice anything... then the exhaust.. I think I remembered a little better throttle response... but It could have been the exhaust noise.. and it also could have been my heavier foot... then when I re-geared it... it made all the difference... The tuner came quickly next.. and when i changed the shift timing... it made my truck feel like it was driving on stock wheels with the stock weight again... good luck... i hope this helped
