PCV valve question

PCV valve question
My PCV valve has two vaccuum ports on it, one big one (3/8") and a smaller one. The 3/8" port is connected to my carb, should the other one be connected somewhere? If not, do I need to plug it off? Btw, the emissions vac diagram doesn't show any connections for the PCV system
