Would like to establish contact(s) with other Econoline P/U owners. I have a '64 that I just started to restore, so far it has been a fun project. Let's get together and share some ideas!

Hope you have good luck with your restoration. Are you keeping the original power-train?
The 144 6 in mine seems strong enough compared to my 1928 4 cyl Ford p/u, so it's all relative. On the highways around here 50mph is easily maintained, but everyone wants to pass even when it isn't safe to do so. As my 87 year old Dad says, "All the fools aren't dead yet!"
Do you have quarter windows and a rear bumper?
What about radio and glove box door? Mine is bare bones stock made in Oakville, Ontario, and all these things must have been extra...oh well!
Talk later...RoyBB

Good Day Gentlemen,
I was wondering if either have had any luck location a pressure plate for your vehicles. I have a 1961 with a 170 in need of a pressure plate and throw out bearing. I am in California the land of the Confused down here by Disneyland.
Good luck on your projects, Doc Festus

Well....I forgot which side of my pickup needed the mirror, but it was a NOS arm and mirror so I bought it when I saw it at Ontario's largest auto flea market just north of Barrie on the weekend.
I now own three (3) arms ( two argent - one chrome ) for the passenger side, and still none for the driver's side...oh well! There's another flea market coming up somewhere, soon.
Talk later, RoyBB

I am in the same boat; just got a 65 one week ago that needs alot as most do I guess. Where do I start? Probably the motor first..has a 289 replacement done about 10 years ago. also needs the standard cosmetic stuff but that will be last, only after all the mechanical stuff is up to snuff. Ask me in one year how far along I am. I tried to email you but got an error message. What is you e mail address, I'll send you some photos and we can share thoughts on projects.
Thanks
Greg

Never going to be cheap. Try Mac's Antique Ford parts. They have free catalogs for evrything Ford from Model T to 1970s. You might also ask for Falcon clutch.

That's a proper idea. So how is the work on the '64 progressing. As I am doing some cutom work on mine you might make a list of parts you need and email them to me. I'm due to pull a Econoline window van home for parts and might make a few deals.

Great sites. I will have to do more checking them out later.
I have 3 trucks in my possession. 2 for parts and 1 to restore. I have also got a lead on 2 more that a fella here is interested to sell me. I also know of one other currently for sale in Saskatoon. I don't know name or phone or asking price, but it has been for sale for the last month.
I too am looking for original mirriors for my 64 truck. Cannot seem to find them. They are round faced ones back then not rectangled.
