I'm New To This Site. I Own A 05 F-350 With The Famous 6.0.
I Have A Question? I Would Like To Beef Up The Front End. The Original Equiptment Has 6000# Front Coil Springs. I Was Wondering If I Could Put A Set Of 7000# Coils (f-550 Coils) To Help Handle The Plow???? What Does It Do To The Ride Height?????? Will It Work????? I Put A 2.5 Inch Leveling Kit In It From Skyjacker And Timbrens, But It Doesn't Seem To Help. The Plow Weighs 825# It Is Only A 8 Footer. I Don't Know What The Skyjacker Coils Are Rated For, I Can't Seem To Find Anybody At Sky Jacker That Can Give Me An Answer. If Anybody Has Done This Or Knows Someone Who Has Done This Please Let Me Know.

Have some custom coils made to the exact specs you're looking for. Coil Spring Specailties does them. I own spring shop and this is where I get my custom coils from. Their number is 785-437-2025. Make sure you have the OEM number ready which is on a tag wrapped around one of your coils

Hi Bunson, and welcome to FTE! Before you do anything, I recommend you check your door sticker and your spring tag, make sure you know exactly what front springs you have. Don't assume that it came with 6000 lb springs.
