ok so when im driven down the road my battery is a bit above the middle of the gauge. BUT when I stop or start to slow down the battery goes way way down. What could this be? I have no clue at all. This doesnt happen all the time but I would say about 90 percent of the time. It has never cut out but it is very annoying!!! Anybody have some input?
time to have the trucks chargeing system properly checked for out put as you well be seeing the first signs of problems. from a bad wire near the battery in the harness to a worn alternator
I agree with LEVEL10, time for a electrical system check up, before it lays down on ya!!!!
Seeing as how you don't seem comfortable with checking your electrical syste out, why not consider running this puppy by your favorite autoparts store, for a no cost electrical system check up, via their portable tester.
It can properly load test your complete electrical system right in the vehicle & will likely sniff out any weak or faulty components.
Kinda sounds like something is up with the alternator, but you could also have battery, or battery cable problems too, so get the whole system checked out with everything in the vehicle & let us know how it goes.
