exhaust problems????

I'm upgrading my stock exhaust system on my 1996, 5.8 V8 truck. I have XLT, auto tranny, stan cab, short bed 4WD. I need to find out what size my converter outlet is? The system Im interested in says it will not fit 2.5" converter out. I am hoping this doest apply to my truck. Any idea?????

The stock converter should be 3inch outlet if you have stock single exhaust.

I have a 93 F-150 351w (5.8) it has 2.250 outlet. You can always adapt up or down.
