ball joint replacent questions

I have a 2002 F150 2WD with 68,000kms (42,000mi) on it that is in need of upper ball joints. Since I have seen that most F150's seem to need lower ball joints first in most cases, I have decided to replace upper and lower ball joints. Can I do this without any special tools? If not what special tools should I get? When everything is done I will be getting an alignment, but will I also need to have the camber adjusted??? I will be marking the postion of the upper control arm camber adjustment bolts. Will this save me from getting camber adjustment?

The only special tools you should need are a "pickle fork" and a ball joint press. You can buy a pickle fork at any parts store. The ball joint press should be available at an auto parts store that does tool rental. I bought a cheap press from Harbor Freight for $20.
The camber adjustment should be part of an alignment.

A 4X4 is a bit different but for a basic idea of what the job entails take a look at https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/3...f-150-4x4.html
