lets see, cps failure, truck dies intermitently(forgive the spelling) and starts back up, truck dies and will not start back up, power flickers on and off.
--i dont know if you can check it.
--get them on ebay for 49.00 and upto 100 dollars.

You can check voltage reading through the harness, but why? If your truck is running it is working not real way to test to see if it is going to die soon.
It is on the front of the motor next to the crank at about 11o'clock
