Hello all, First of all let me say thanks for all your help. With this forums posts I found and bought my First SuperDuty an '05 Crew Cab Harley Davidson. My problem now is I have a garage full of audio equipment and nowhere to put it. Does anyone have a link to building a subwoofer box that will fit behind the seat? and an easy way to replace the wonderful!!!, stock speakers? Thanks
I built one in mine for 2 10" JL Audio w2's. Mine also has the captain seats in the rear (lariat) It's a tight fit to get standard 10's in there. I can post pics up later if you want. The only mod I had to do was raise the rear seat mounts by 1" with solid steel bar stock and good bolts for safety.
hey do u know if the stock ford stereo has rca plugs on the back of it for a amp? I was thinking about hooking up my sub and amp to the stock stereo......
Thanks for all the help guys, i don't really want to go the mtx route (expensive), i've been looking at supercrew's boxes and that is going to be the only option i think. The stock stereo doesn't have rca's behind it, as far as i know. Anyone know how to get the doors off? and in the back does the plastic around the rear speakers just come off. I have a bench in the back.
thanks
westernillsigHDSD, what kind of stock radio do you have? The six cd changer or the singal cd changer? I have the stock 6cd changer (audiophile) hooked up to two 12' mtx 5500. If you have the audiophile 6cd then it will work you just have to buy the convertor at circuitcity for $60.00

Hey i have the factory in dash 6 stack cd player. And yes i am hooking up a amp and sub. My amp has the high gain leads so i dont need rca plugs.
But i have to hook up the power ant to the amp so it turns on with the radio.
