click "private messages" under your name. it will look like this
Welcome, fishmanndotcom.
You last visited: Today at 07:17 PM
Private Messages: 0 Unread, Total 12.
click the phrase "private messages" and it will take you to the PM console. from there scroll down the page some and find the messages you wish to delete. check the boxes on the right hand side of the message title. after check ing all you want to delete go to the bottom of the "Inbox" folder or whatever folder you wish to delete from and there will be a drop down list that reads "move to folder ... " select the drop down and select delete. then hit the "Go' button just to the rigth of the drop down button.
