OK, so I've got a 1987 F-150 (302) automatic with 135K on it. The other day the emissions light came on so I figured that, since 99% of the time a bad O2 sensor is the culprit, I would pony up the $50 for a new one. IT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. Now, I haven't looked for codes yet (weather is too cold and my garage is not car-capable at the moment). I looked in my owner's manual and it said that the light will go on at 60K which means that it is time for 60K scheduled maintenance. It refers me to the scheduled maintenance book, which I don't have. Does anyone know what is involved in the 60K scheduled maintenance for this truck? Better yet, does anyone know where I can find one of those books which apparently came with the truck when new? Or, does anyone have an idea what may be the culprit here? As usual, any information will be much appreciated.

Thanks, Subford. You know, I ran a serarch on this forum last night and did not stumble on that thread. I do computer research almost on a daily basis and you think that I would be able to key in the right words to come up with a thread that is exactly what I was looking for. Anyway, thanks for the help. I always appreciate it.
