I got a call back last nite and the 56 has been sold. It sounded great as it was stored inside and was suppose to be very clean so at $1,500 it was likely a decent deal.
He has a another 56 coming up this spring but it`s about a 2-3 ton with a hoist but no box and not in quite as nice condition.
you cant go wrong with 56's. that was a good year all around, Ford, Chev, was dodge around???? kidding, they had the letter cars im sure. definetly no such thing as too many 56's in a yard
Colin, this guy sounds like a long haul trucker between Sask and Alberta. Seems quite nice and seems that he has some vehicles for sale fairly often.
Chris, I do have my 56 in many pieces and it does need to be put together this winter. still going to give me a hand? While this sounded like a decent driver, may or may not have been one though. It would have been neat to have an F350 and this one had dual wheels.
Paul, the 56 F350 was in Lumsden and we should have gone up this past weekend.
Your 53 F-350 is already a dually, it's just missing like 3 wheels. Anyways it would have those 6 bolt split rims you just love. You almost have to many projects. Maybe you should concentrate on the 53 F-250, F-350 and the 56 M-100. That should keep you busy for awhile.
Are these club prices?
If so we`ll have to start subsituting hard, more like a mild 351/C6!
These prices seem pretty good especially the 514 stroker, Canadian or US and what about shipping?
Metallic Ford True Blue paint with white stripe $1500, this is for material only I take it?
$13,000 in total would be very nice and so very tempting but it would be probably double that for a finished truck including misc like wiring, brake system, body work ect. and of course the many adult refreshments.
