hi all i get my big block ft back on thur i can,t wait all rebuild

big block ft

hi rusty i got it bore from 3.78 to 4.0469 i got the silvolite piston (3144d )
it was sonice tested crane cam =343901 highly balance i have a 4 bl manifold for it i got the works dun on it everthink new in it i can,t wait to feel her idle under my right foot thanks again rusty for alll your help on this ft big block i will post pic s soon for you to see ok mate

You might want to think about advancing that cam - unless your machinist was very smart and already did that.

Those heads will get lots of flow, but at low RPMs. Even with a 901 cam, the valve timing will be setup for more flow at higher RPMs.

I don't know guys, but wouldn't he want to advance that cam quite a bit?

And then, after that, it'll be a real torque monster.

But as it is, it can't be any worse, and will certainly be better than, before the rebuild!

That cam really isn't that big at all. It should compliment the FT heads well. I'd install it straight up. I know in my dyno simulations, the peak torque with the 901 comes on at about 2500rpm. That, and the torque curve is as flat as a pancake. I think it'll work great in that FT, or I wouldn't have recommended it.

rebuild 361

hi all i just got my new ford crome rocker cover,s i think i im close now
with the part list, has im put this sleeping ft back together my self
this all started has you guys no i have a mustang skid steer . well i buy i exavator now i need a trailer more money and you guy,s no i have a 292 in it now , which has dun me well in 7 years but i think it will not tow well has i would be 10.430 t loaded with a tailer of 4,5 ton this is y the 361ft was found. they said thurday but you no how long it been now for all of this to take my mate that has dun this has he has move shop once just waiting for him to bal it now then it home with a bill to pay he rebuilds rally motor s sum jap wrx thing, 700 hp from a 4 cylinder wow chat to you guys soon .
