Not really sure who will go, both teams have shown some up and down.
(some real brilliance and some real disasters)
I will say that this is one that I wish both could win. For the first time in a while, both teams seem to be some really decent folks -- from coach to kicker. ( NO would have been the same) Really nice to weatch games without someone picking up a cell phone in the end zone.
Have to vote Colts just because my son in law is big on da Bears. I really don't think either one is a clear favorite though. Both are capable of beating the other one if one is having one of their slightly off days which da Bears are bad about.
Indy has been installed a full touchdown favorite. Then again virtualy every "expert" out there (except Ditka!) has picked against the Bears in both of their games. Yesterdays prognosticators on the pregame shows were so out of control with their Saints loving, I wanted to puke.
Two weeks of being talked to about how great Manning is should prep the Bears defense just fine.
I still have memories of the old Bears and the ferocity of their play, Ditka fielded a great team. Their play the other day really impressed me, but I believe Manning is a better quarterback than Grossman and that may be the difference. I gotta go with the Colts.
If the Colts can play all four quarters like they played the third against the Pats, they'll bring it all home. Problem is, as witnessed yesterday, you never know which Colts team will show up, or at what point in the game they'll get their act together. I pretty much have despised the Bears since the '80s, so I'm hoping beyond hope that the Colts bring their "A" game.
Gotta go with "Da Bears"... been a fan since the days of Dick Butkus. I was impressed with the way the Colts brought it against New England, though, and to be honest, I was kind of hoping to see the Saints get in for their first Super Bowl.
