I just checked their web site out and it seems they still have their $200 instal and equip offer on.
Sounds very interesting, two of my neighbours got this package last summer, I`ll have to check with them to see if they`re still satisfied with it.
If so I might go for it too.
I'd be interested to, but i would also like to to know how they are for support! Sasktel dial up is slow buts its nice to be able to phone them 24 hours a day if you have any problems. And you can actually talk t a real person and not a flippin recording lol.
My brother got the Baudoux wireless high speed system and the stuff in the house seems simpler than the Sasktel high speed wireless stuff that I have. Speeds seem quite comparable as he got the fastest (most expensive) option from Baudoux.
I think his cost is in the mid $50/month but it was a bit cheaper than the Sasktel stuff (I think about $200 vs $250). Mine costs around $45/month. I think its actually $60 but get $5/month off Sasktel cell and $10/month off home phone - netting cost of about $45.
We havent really compared performance yet. I do feel a bit more confident in the service that Sasktel will provide but maybe Baudoux will be just as good or better. Either way --> dial up sucks!
